Heron Tower, London

The square mile that is London's financial district will soon have a landmark to rival the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. The Heron Tower which is currently under construction has some very special features including double deck glass elevators offering spectacular views of the capital. Passengers are transported to the upper or lower deck of the elevators by 2 Schindler escalators and visitors to the rooftop restaurant and bar are whisked skywards at 5m/s in shuttle elevators designed specifically for the purposes.
