Volume of traffic at this busy London office meant that at peak times, queues in the lift lobbies were almost out onto the street. The bank of low rise and bank of high rise lifts could not cope with the demands of the 27 storey multi-occupancy building.

The installation of Schindler Miconic 10 destination control has dramatically improved the situation. Before modernisation of the lift machinery and lift cars began, Miconic 10 destination control was installed over the existing conventional control system. This resulted in a 50% reduction in waiting time for almost 90% of calls. Not only are calls answered more quickly, but passengers arrive at their destination faster due to the efficient grouping of calls.
