Energy efficiency rating for passenger lifts

Please note that other lift manufacturers are stating that they have higher VDI ratings than Schindler, but in fact their measurements are taken in a test environment under optimised conditions, as stated in the small print. All Schindler VDI measurements are taken on real installations, therefore we deliver what we promise. Other lift manufacturer's VDI ratings should not be used as a comparison to Schindler measurements as they are not taken in real conditions.

VDI labelling is valid for the measured installation only - we use it as indicators to see where we can improve our products and to provide transparency for you; our customers.
