Safety on escalators is the theme at events running in shopping centres across the UK. Safety is of paramount importance at Schindler and we want to raise awareness of safety in shopping centres; as this is the main location where the public will use escalators on a regular basis.

In association with LEIA (Lift and Escalator Industry Association) and the 'Safe and Sound' lions, both adults and children are learning all about how to keep themselves safe on escalators.

Our aim is to educate the public about the top tips of escalator safety, which in turn will ensure a safer community.
